I am a native of Savannah, GA and now reside in Columbia, IL so I can watch my two-year-old grandson grow up. I have been married to my wife, Carolyn, for almost 48 years. I have a son, daughter-in-law and my grandson. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia and a retired minister.

My credentials include being a licensed insurance agent, licensed mortgage loan officer and a certified financial counselor. And, I have the life experiences and professional activity to use those credentials to help my clients have a better understanding of their financial lives and how to protect themselves against all the risks that can hurt them.

I see myself first as a financial educator. Most people do not really understand how money works and how most of the financial and governmental institutions are not their friends!
